But there will come a time, when things will start going better. And that flipping point has always intrigued me. I always have to think back to the cold war times, when millions and millions of Western Dollars went to special interest and lobby groups trying to fight communism. When the Berlin wall finally came down, it turned out no-one has ever bothered to spend a penny on a roadmap "How to change that communistic country, once it throws the towel in the ring".
Freegold has the theoretical structure of providing that store-of-value-anchor in a fiat currency world, in our existing financial system. How that could be implemented, and what the implications are, are still to be discovered. I see it as a mission of this site to provide for (parts of) that roadmap. And that starts with the discussions on this forum, which have been ongoing for a year now. That is certainly something to celebrate!
