We will be releasing after the conference the third page to the GMW that will contain the Forecasting arrays and charts. We will provide a brief overview of the GMW at the Cycles of War Conference, a more detailed trading review on the Sunday event, and we will be demonstrating an access where you will speak to the website, be able to ask it questions, and it will speak back. We are close to bringing on line the full system where you will even be able to input your portfolio for it to track just that.

Ik heb het commentaar van de heren hier eens gevolgd (géén advies, gewoon geluisterd naar hun mening) en ben ook maar eens short gegaan op mijn manier. Ik denk ook dat de huidige opleving tijdelijk is, met te weinig enthousiasme. Het kapitaal gaat naar DJ en S&P, niet naar het commodities complex.

Ik ben dus ook even uitgestapt. Niet voor 100%, en wél een goede reden: ik heb even cash nodig voor de belangrijkere dingen des levens. Het was dus even proberen te timen, verkoop ik nu, of over 3 maanden.

Hoe dan ook: petje af voor de kenners. Ik ben meer een gevoels-mens, en als ik mijn gevoel had opgevolgd, had ik nu dus gekocht in plaats van verkocht. Het ging immers weer omhoog na de dip, dus de trein gaat rijden! Wie het weet mag het zeggen uiteraard - geen garanties, maar toch blij dat er hier mensen zitten die meer verstand van TA dan ik.

Net voor de bodem, krijg je dikwijls nog een flinke rally.
Heel volatiel spul : ' ze ' denken dat ze te laat gaan zijn....

Idd, zoals ik enkele dagen geleden dit volgend obstakel vernoemd heb in de andere draad.

Daaruit besluit ik dat de genoteerde goudprijs nog serieus gaat boomen in de toekomst.
Wanneer juist...ik weet het niet. Maar het voorlopige dieptepunt ligt achter ons. Dat denk ik.

In het kader hiervan : wat vooral mijn aandacht trekt bij het bekijken, is de laatste grafiek.
De stijging van de seventies (grosso modo x20), de stille jaren, de stijging van de 21e eeuw (grosso modo x4)...slechts tot op heden

Could gold head lower in the near-term?

Certainly another powerful support level would be around $1,000. There were several times before 2008 when gold hit that level and came back. I believe that would be a very firm support level for gold if it dropped again.”

Where is gold headed a few years out?

“In 1980, when the gold price peaked at $800, it took 1 ounce of gold to buy the Dow Jones Index. After 1980, financial assets took the lead over hard assets. In 1999, it took 44 ounces of gold to buy the Dow Jones, at a gold price of $250. If gold were to regain the position it held in 1980, we could easily see a 3:1 ratio – gold at $5,000 given the current level of the Dow Jones, or even $15,000 if gold returns to the 1:1 level.

“Ultimately, I believe that the gold price could reach $5,000 within a few years, and perhaps go well beyond. Deficits and rising debts, exacerbated by demographic issues, are here to stay. And money printing and higher gold demand along with them.”

Niet akkoord:

De 1180$ is 44% van de top en betekent niks dus.
Hooguit een voorlopige tussenbodem vanuit fibonacci-standpunt.

Huidige rally lijkt me de 'Vladimir P. suckerrally' .
Suckerralies zijn meestal heel heftig : We zouden es te laat moeten zijn...

Klopt, zo denk ik er ook al een tijd over. De huidige rally is er nog steeds één van 'shortcovering' terwijl het ETF volume gemiddeld genomen nog steeds afneemt en er op de crimex niet echt sprake is van overtuigend nieuw 'long-volume'.

Zolang het spannend blijft op de Krim zal goud imo nog wel zo 'choppy' blijven als het nu is en blijf ik liever aan de zijlijn. Als er weer wat rust op de Krim komt, kan het zo weer flink naar beneden .... tenzij blijkt dat zich echt.! nieuwe longs manifesteren.

Graag enkel woorden uitleg, aub.
Die blauwe lijn : jou plafond ?

Heel goed mogelijk, dat er dan een weerbots komt.
Maar ik wil maar zeggen : hou steeds het fundamentele en Langetermijnplaatje ook in het oog.
En bekijk het toch ook als wat verzekering, zeker als er steeds wel ergens een plaats in deze wereld in brand staat.
