The diehard bulls are already proclaiming the low is in place so buy – buy – buy. Gold should press higher into next week, but the Weekly Bullish Reversal stands at 1423 and the year-end resistance will be 1435. The big turning point is still next January. So we are about $100 below major resistance. This diehard bullishness swearing every time this is it, is perhaps what has to break before we get the real bull market. Gold never got through the 1980 high adjusted for inflation $2300. It has been the worst performing asset with equity and, real estate advancing far more. The Dow stood at 1,000 in 1980 when gold was $875. The Dow has come close to 16,000 and gold could not break $2,000. It is all about time. You cannot have gold blasting up and everything else is not in line. But again, these people only look at gold and ignore the rest of the markets.
The time will be right. But patience is necessary! The problem with the Goldbugs is they are just always bullish and by constantly talking the same game no matter what, real unbiased investors get turned-off. This damages the credibility of the metals and makes a lot of people look at them as a joke rather than an asset class. It would be if a stock broker constantly said buy – buy – buy, even when the Dow declines.

Tot Januari 2014 de tijd om bij te laden. maar, dat is US$, wij werken in Euro's en dat is toch koffiedik kijken, totdat we grote schommelingen krijgen.

Ik heb je niks anders lopen vertellen hier. en kans dat we ook nog onder de 1000 trekken is levensgroot.
het punt is dat degenen waar velen hun beslissingen op baseren, de grootbanken, er allemaal consequent naast zaten. zelfs Goldman, die nochtans in 2008 al de piek van de goudprijs hadden voorzien voor 2012
en terwijl ik dit schrijf schieten goud en zilver omhoog naar naar hun hoogste niveaus in zowat 2 maanden

Ik kan me moeilijk voorstellen dat het om de USD Philadelphia Fed. Manufacturing Index gaat die gedaald is van 19.8 naar 9.3 terwijl de analisten er van uit gingen dat deze ging dalen naar 15.0

misschien omdat de taper er in september aankomt. misschien omdat de nieuwste cijfers 0.00001% lager zijn dan verwacht. misschien omdat Obama in een interview van 2 jaar geleden zich missprak en Iran zei ipv Irak, wat betekent dat de VS morgen Iran gaan binnenvallen
goud stijgt omdat JPM koopt. het stijgt omdat dit maanden, jaren of decennia geleden zo was afgesproken. het stijgt omdat het moet stijgen. dat is de eerste en enige reden, al de rest is voor de show
en best of all, niemand die dat doorheeft. sheeple indeed

What seems to be the new Chinese government press commentary, posted this week by the blogger Koos Jansen at his Internet site, also notes the difficulty of the German Bundesbank in retrieving the gold it has vaulted at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. An Internet translation of the Chinese commentary that has been posted by Jansen is, predictably enough, largely incoherent, Chinese requiring a lot more massaging into English than computer programs can yet do well, but the translation is enough to show that China is scrutinizing the gold market, is familiar with the latest developments and details, and long has known exactly what is going on.
Indeed, it may be suspected that China actually cooperated with the Western central banks' smashing of the gold price in April on the understanding that China then could join in the purchase of sharply discounted gold unloaded by panicked Western investors. The Chinese government also may have chosen April 16 to publicize Western gold price suppression to a domestic audience so that its own people would not be panicked out of their own gold. Of course the Chinese were panicked only into besieging gold shops to get still more metal.

India bans gold medallions, coins imports to curb deficit
NEW DELHI: India has banned imports of gold coins and medallions as part of steps to curb its current account deficit, Arvind Mayaram, economic affairs secretary, said on Wednesday, after total gold imports picked up again in July.
