Good morning,

Damn it! It seems that some unpleasant news is out about the ECB is financing Spain with 375 billion Euro through the back door. Some jerks dare to write about it:

Reports say more and more homeowners in Netherlands under water. Does anyone have any further details here?

I've seen an article in a Dutch newspaper (NRC) a few days ago.

Link (in dutch)

@Spruitje

What implications will that have? I do not consider the Netherlands a speculative market for real estate. I am wrong there?

Implications, I don't know :?
I live in Belgium and I'm not a specialist in Dutch real estate. :|
But I think it has nothing to do with speculation. If the household money decreases (due to loss of jobs) and a late payment, the banks will have a possibility to seizure. This wil result in more houses on the market and lower prices.
I don't see a problem if there is no loss of jobs.
