EGO
VANCOUVER, Jan. 25, 2016
2016 forecast gold production estimated to be 565,000-630,000ounces of gold at an average cash cost ranging between $585-620per ounce, and an all-in sustaining cash cost between $940-980per ounce.
Ze kunnen dus nog wel wat hebben teneinde break-even te kunnen minen, maar het moet niet onder de $900 gaan, want dan komt ook Eldorado in de problemen.

Moving forward, OceanaGold announced its 2016 production and guidance of 385,000 to 425,000 ounces of gold at continued low AISC of $700 to $750 per ounce.
Haile gaat eind dit jaar in productie. ( mijn in de us )
JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – Triple-listed OceanaGold exceeded its 2015 consolidated gold production guidance range, producing 419 153 oz of gold – a 36% year-on-year increase – as well as 23 109 oz of copper. The miner reported on Tuesday that it also delivered record yearly gold production and throughput at its Didipio operation, in the Philippines, having produced 127 086 oz of gold after processing 3.58-million tonnes of ore. Marking 2015 as a transformational year for the company, CEO Mick Wilkes noted that the company not only exceeded expectations, but also did so at sector-leading low costs. The company last year acquired Romarco Minerals’ Haile gold mine in the US, and Newmont Mining’s Waihi gold mine, in New Zealand. OceanaGold also achieved an unaudited consolidated all-in sustaining cost (AISC) of $709/oz and cash costs of $458/oz, both within the 2015 cost guidance range. It now aimed to achieve production of 385 000 oz to 425 000 oz for the year ahead, at an AISC cost of $700/oz to $750/oz per ounce.

Stock markets left behind recent lows, but still are down in January. That fate isn't shared by the yellow metal ending January at $1117.8, up 5.4% for the year. Silver scraped together a 3% advance, yet the PGM's still lag with both Platinum and Palladium still down for the year.
Since making a 14 year low on Jan 19, the HUI has been rallying towards the end of the month, with only a minor hiccup last Thursday. The HUI turned a near 10% loss to a 8.65% gain by the Friday close, after rallying 13.07% over the week. The HUI/Gold ratio has been recovering after its steep slide earlier this month. You find updated graphs on the
gold miner pulse blog page.
Our GoldMinerPulse based miners indexes (most quotes in CAD) are up high single digits. The ETF benchmarks invariably end the week advancing between 4.35% (GLDX) and 12.5% (SIL). Our
contributor driven explorer & junior miner spreadsheet makes a 6.85% gain for the week, cutting its long term loss to 51.3%. There are 15 miners/explorers advancing over the week against 3 declining with Wellgreen Platinum unchanged. Mind that there has been a share consolidation for PLG. The entry level has been changed accordingly as to reflect reliably the true decline. Over the long haul, we again have three picks advancing:
Oceana Gold and
Osisko Royalties made it to positive territory joining
MAG Silver. With a fractional loss for the week, Pretium resources obviously has more work to do.
