Since 1944 and Bretton Woods, the global hegemony of America has rested on two main pillars: That the USA have a military unchallenged by any rival and that the US dollar remain the unchallenged world reserve currency, meaning, in essence, foreign nations finance Washington deficits ad infinitum.

Four days before Donald Trump took the oath as President, he gave a long interview to the London Times. In it he declared, "...you look at the European Union and it's Germany. Basically a vehicle for Germany." Then on the issue of Germany and other EU countries taking in more than one million unscreened war refugees from Syria, Afghanistan, Libya and other predominately Muslim countries, Trump declared, "If they hadn't been forced to take in all of the refugees, so many, with all the problems that it, you know, entails, I think that you wouldn't have a Brexit. It probably could have worked out. But this was the final straw, this was the final straw that broke the camel's back. I think people want, people want their own identity, so if you ask me, others, I believe others will leave. (emphasis added-w.e.)

Notably, it was Mnuchin's Goldman Sachs, beginning 2002, who engineered the dodgy derivatives currency swaps operations that allowed the Greek government to hide the fact its deficits were running 12% or more and not the mandated Eurozone 3%. Conveniently, the Greek debt crisis was made public in 2010 just as US budget deficits were exploding in the annual trillion plus levels and China among others threatened a US Treasury boycott. There was well-grounded suspicion at the time that Goldman and the US Treasury deliberately exploded the Greek crisis to put the Euro down versus the dollar.

Furthermore, with 17-year veteran Goldman Sachs partner, Steven Mnuchin, as Treasury Secretary, a person who has stated he has no problem labeling China a currency manipulator, the stage seems set for an all-out US Currency War aimed at destroying the Euro.

Het tekort op de Belgische begroting zou dit jaar 2,2 procent van het bbp bedragen, na 2,9 procent vorig jaar. Dat zegt de Europese Commissie vandaag, die daarmee dus niet verwacht dat ons land in de buurt van de 3-procentdrempel komt. Ook de overheidsschuld zou, weliswaar licht, dalen: van 106,8 naar 106,5 procent. Minister van Financiën Johan Van Overtveldt (N-VA) reageert tevreden. "Het zijn cijfers die aantonen dat het herstelbeleid werkt."

Een hoop ambtenaren zijn nodig, maar zijn ze allemaal nodig.
Een goede dienstverlening is nodig. Daar is volk voor nodig.
Maar efficiëntie, daar moeten ze nog aan werken. hard aan werken.

Is dat nu zo f*cking moeilijk om een begroting in evenwicht in te dienen, in plaats van te triomferen als je gaat voor een tekort van 2,2% ipv 2,9% ?
106,8 % of 106,5 % van het BNP - wat maakt het uit ? ipv 60% waar europa het doel legt ? ipv een overschot te creëren ?
Nu staan de rentes zooooooooo laag.
Wat gaat dat binnen x tijd geven, als ze opnieuw op een normale 4 à 6 % gaan staan ?
Dan komt men af met "onverwachte tegenvallers" door de stijgende rentes.
Niks onverwacht, als ge véél schulden hebt, zal je betalen.

Begroting beheren als goede huisvaders, m'n oor.
Alle politiekers en ministers van Financiën en Begroting van de voorbije decennia zijn allemaal dik, héél dik gebuisd.

't is nochtans héél simpel.
Eerst zien wat er binnenkomt.
En dan minder uitgeven !

de toekomst zal een stukske verleden kunnen ophalen onder één der hierboven aangehaalde.

acht de gemiddelde europeaan niet slimmer dan de gemiddelde cowboy....
ook wij zij in staat om ergens " een kalf te verkiezen ".

dus, belgische belegger.....

What’s more, “Of the remaining four governors, one is a Republican,” says Jim. That means once Trump fills the slots, there will be a 4-3 Republican majority. And don’t forget: Yellen’s term as chair is over in less than a year.

That means Trump calls the shots at the Fed — and soon.

Jim says you can count on his appointees to carry out his wishes: “Trump wants a weaker dollar to help U.S. exports and to help create U.S. export-related jobs,” Jim reminds us. “Trump complains about China, Germany and Japan using a cheap currency to hurt U.S. workers. Now Trump will pursue a cheap dollar to fight back.

“A cheap dollar means one thing — higher gold prices. Gold is just a form of money like the dollar, euro or yen. If the dollar is strong, the dollar price of gold goes down. If the dollar is weak, the dollar price of gold goes up. It’s that simple.

“So with Trump taking over the Fed, and a weak dollar on the way, look for higher gold prices and much higher prices for gold mining stocks over the next year. The time to load up on physical gold and gold mining stocks is now, before the mainstream media figure out what we just explained.”

Ik zou eens willen weten hoe snel het mij zou opvallen wanneer één inkomensbron plots zou wegvallen of dat mijn werkgever mij 4 jaar niet zou betalen. Het gaat hem hier om 30.000€.
Er zijn nl. zoveel bewegingen op hun rekening dat het niet opvalt dat ze 30.000€ teveel of te weinig ontvangen.
Na VIER jaar zou ik het toch al doorhebben dacht ik.

Waarom blijft men dat gewoon maar pikken?
En dat zijn zaken die ECHT gebeuren hé, je houdt het niet voor mogelijk, je houdt het niet voor mogelijk. ZUCHT...
